Nancy B. Taylor is a partner at Orbach Huff & Henderson and her practice focuses on public entity construction, real property, procurement, and governance matters.
With over 17 years of experience representing public school districts and public agencies, Nancy has extensive experience advising clients regarding their legal obligations under statutes governing access to public records, conflict of interest regulations and open meeting laws.
She assists clients with various construction and facilities matters including drafting bidding documents, handling bid protests, assessing, and managing liabilities, and litigating construction defect and delay claims. She negotiates and drafts contracts for complex property transactions, including purchases and dispositions, leases, joint use and occupancy agreements, easements, exchanges, affordable housing and multi-party development agreements.
Clients regularly seek her expertise in implementing bond programs for the construction and modernization of school facilities and in developing their program standards, policies and templates.
In her free time, Nancy loves to travel with her family, is an avid hiker, gardener, and Peloton enthusiast.
Nancy received her Juris Doctor from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law
